Triton BioPharma offers fellowship for pharm school post-grads
NEW YORK Pharmacy students won’t have to stop promising research projects after graduating, thanks to a new fellowship offered by Triton BioPharma.
Triton recruits doctor of pharmacy students who wish to continue research after receiving their degrees and who show the greatest academic success. Triton hopes the program, available to pre- and post-doctoral students, will allow doctoral research to lead to development of new drugs. Research is often lost when the students graduate.
Triton, based in Toronto, uses the properties of organisms from the ocean to develop vaccines and medications for cancer, depression, HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases.
