Vangent launches easy Medicare information on the Web

ARLINGTON, Va. Vangent has unveiled the informisEnroll, which is a new interactive Web program for Medicare patients. informisEnroll enables health plans to provide expanded online Medicare plan and option information, and simplifies the online enrollment process.

InformisEnroll presents Medicare beneficiaries with step-by-step instructions for reviewing a health plan’s offerings and submitting online applications. It also gives the beneficiaries the ability to research prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage options from their health plans and enroll in the most appropriate plans via Web-based electronic forms.

Plans will also have the flexibility to offer their prospects the choice of using informisEnroll through their Web sites or via CD-ROM to be installed on the beneficiary’s computer. Both versions enable the prospect to complete and submit the application electronically as an online enrollment—or print, sign, and mail the application to the health plan.

Additionally, informisEnroll users have one-click access to review the health plan’s drug formulary, find network providers and participating pharmacies, and compare plans to facilitate an informed enrollment decisions—all within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines.
