Vitruvius Therapeutics gets FDA nod for vitamin B-12 injection
Vitruvius Therapeutics has received the Food and Drug Administration’s clearance for its vitamin B-12 for injection (cyanocobalamin) 1,000 mcg/ml. It will be available in 1-ml single-dose vials and 10-ml multiple-dose vials.
“We are pleased to receive our third product approval in the past 12 months,” Vitruvius executive vice president of sales and distribution Bryce Harvey said.
Vitamin B-12 injection had a market value of approximately $74.3 million in the 12 months ended September 2018, according to IQVIA.
