Publix continues growing its GreenWise Market footprint

Publix is opening the doors to yet another GreenWise Market in Florida.

This newest location, which brings its total of locations in the state to five, can be found in Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, and is located at the Nocatee Town Center off the Crosswater Parkway.

“GreenWise Market is a place to find great food in a relaxed environment,” Publix President Kevin Murphy said. “It's a place where customers can connect with other food lovers, explore exciting new flavors and find unique products that support their individual needs.”

Featuring natural and organic items, consumers can expect to find such prepared foods as gourmet pizzas, burrito bowls and wraps made with organic meats cheeses, vegan options, organic smoked meats, organic sausages and gourmet popcorn among other items.

Like other GreenWise Markets, the stores are divided into experience zones with names like Cares, Cuts, Eats, Finds and Pours.

In addition, shoppers are able to find a still-life by Shawn Meharg that shows ingredients and kitchen tools on a counter, as if a chef has paused in the middle of preparing a meal, the Lakeland, Fla.-based company said.
