Publix expands COVID-19 vaccine distribution to Tennessee pharmacies
Residents in Tennessee will soon be able to go to their nearest Publix for a COVID-19 vaccine.
The retailer announced that it has opened appointments for the vaccine at 23 of its pharmacies in the state.
Eligible individuals who meet the state and federal government’s requirements for the vaccine will be receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the company said.
Appointments, which are available while supplies last, can be made through the Publix online reservation system in the Bradley, Davidson, Greene, Hamilton, Knox, Montgomery, Putnam, Rutherford, Sevier, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties.
As vaccine eligibility varies by county within the state, the retailer recommends visiting the department of health’s vaccine eligibility page for further information on who qualifies.
