Publix offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations in 7 states

Walk-in customers can now receive a COVID-19 vaccine at any Publix Pharmacy.

The retailer recently announced that all of its locations across seven states are now accepting walk-in customers for the vaccine, as well as scheduled appointments.

Vaccines are provided to individuals who are not only eligible but also age 18 years old and older, while supplies last.

Walk-in customers will be able to choose between the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, pending availability. Those who opt for the Moderna vaccine will be provided with an appointment day and time for their second dose, the company said.

Appointments also are available through Publix’s online reservation system, where same-day appointments may also be available.
