Publix is continuing the expansion of its GreenWise Market concept in the state of Florida.
The Lakeland, Fla.-based retailer has opened a fourth location in the Sunshine State, just north of Tampa in Odessa.
Located on State Road 54 at the Preserve Marketplace Shopping Center, the store features foods for health-conscious and gourmet foodies alike, the company said.
Consisting of a selection of specialty, natural and organic items, carefully curated local products and experience zones can be found within the market. Aisles shoppers can hit up include:
- Cares, which includes vitamins, nutritional supplements, natural soaps and shampoos among other items;
- Cuts, which features meats raised with no antibiotics or added hormones, as well as sustainably-sourced seafood;
- Eats, which has made to order meals and such grab and go foods as handcrafted gourmet sandwiches and freshly baked pizza;
- Finds, which includes a curated selection of wines and imported cheeses; and
- Pours, which is a beverage area featuring locally roasted coffee, wine and beer on tap.
“We’re excited to share the GreenWise Market experience with a new community,” Publix president Kevin Murphy said. “As customers discover this unique experience, they’ll also find a relaxing atmosphere where they can share their love of good food with their family, friends and neighbors.”
In addition, this GreenWise Market, like others, features a mural created by a local artist. This location features a mural of water ripples inspired by Lithia Springs, created by painter and sculptor Candance Knapp from Brandon.
