Refresh Digital targets tech-strained eyes

The latest addition to the Refresh line of eye drops is looking to tackle symptoms associated with prolonged use of smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. Refresh Digital is designed to enable hydration that the company said eyes miss out on due to screen use reducing blink frequency and requiring attention levels that lead to incomplete blinking.

Refresh Digital contains the brand’s proprietary HydroCell technology, which it said enables hydration and maintains the volume o cells on the surface of the eye, supporting the eye’s lipid, aqueous and mucin layers. The product is meant to be used as needed, one to two drops at a time.

The product currently is available in multidose bottles that range in price from $12.99 to $16.49 and in preservative-free, single-use vials that range in price from $14.49 to $18.49 for a 30-count box. Refresh Digital is sold wherever OTC eye drops are sold.
