Amazon is bringing ultrafast delivery of fresh products to major metro areas in Minnesota, Texas, and Arizona.
The e-tail giant is now offering its AmazonFresh delivery service to Prime members in Minneapolis, Houston, and Phoenix. Online orders for tens of thousands of fresh products, including meat, seafood, produce, and everyday essentials, will be available for one- to two-hour delivery from AmazonFresh.
AmazonFresh orders can also be placed via the Alexa voice assistant, which can learn and remember customers’ past purchases and favorite selections. Prime members can access AmazonFresh for $14.99 per month as an add-on to their Prime membership. For a limited time, new customers can start a 30-day free trial of AmazonFresh and receive $10 off their first order of $35 or more.
“We’re thrilled to introduce AmazonFresh to Prime members in Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix,” said Stephenie Landry, VP of AmazonFresh and Prime Now. “Prime members tell us they want their stuff even faster. We’re happy to deliver on that ask and can’t wait for customers in Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix to take advantage of one- and two-hour delivery from AmazonFresh.”
Amazon’s latest geographical expansion of AmazonFresh comes about two months after the retailer rolled out the service to Prime members in Las Vegas.
