Bartell Drugs helps local children through ‘Teddy Bear Patrol’ campaign
Bartell Drugs and radio station WARM 106.9 FM are once again teaming up to give “bear hugs” to children in stressful or traumatic situations. The companies' annual “Teddy Bear Patrol” campaign will be held from April 1 to 28.
This is the 29th year of this successful campaign, the company said.
The annual drive puts teddy bears in the hands of community police departments, hospitals and emergency response teams so they may give them to children involved in challenging situations.
With a 128-year history in the Northwest, Bartell Drugs’ 68 stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties are designated locations for teddy bear donations.
When consumers purchase an official “Bartell Bear” for $8, Bartell's will donate a second bear to the campaign.
During last year’s drive, more than 15,000 bears were donated to this heartfelt cause.
Bears will be accepted in all Bartell Drugs locations through April 28, and requests that no bears donated be over 12” long.
