CVS Pharmacy names Kevin Murphy Jr. to new leadership role
CVS Pharmacy announced that it has named Kevin Murphy Jr., to the role of senior vice president of payer relations and managed care.
In this role, he will oversee negotiation for all retail reimbursement contracts with third-party payers and develop new methods of contracting with PBMs and health plans.
Murphy Jr. joined CVS Health in 2011, where he has been in various leadership roles, most recently as group head of specialty and infusion.
He earned a master’s degree in finance from Fairfield University and a Bachelor of Science degree in management from the University of Rhode Island.
