Publix recognized as one of the best workplaces for millennials

6/27/2018
Fortune Magazine has recognized Publix as one of the best workplaces for millennials.

The Lakeland, Fla.-based company’s workforce currently employs about 45% of millennials who were born between 1981 and 1998.

“Our associates are the heart of our company,” Publix's CEO and president, Todd Jones said. “We work to create an environment where our associates enjoy coming to work for the opportunities they have and the relationships they form. At Publix, we provide resources for our associates to help them develop throughout their careers.”

Fortune Magazine’s results were determined from a survey of more than 434,000 millennials at companies who have been recognized as a great place to work, the company said.

Those surveyed were asked about opportunities to innovate and contribute to the company’s overall success as well as fair treatment, respect from managers, and positive leadership among other factors.

For further information on what associates have to say about working in the company, consumers can visit Reviews' Great Place to Work website, the company said.
