Target digital shoppers can now opt for same-day delivery
Target is looking to make shopping online much easier for its customers.
The retailer announced that those who wander Target.com’s digital aisles can now get their essentials delivered right to their door via same-day delivery shopped by Shipt.
“With same-day delivery now available directly within the Target.com experience, we’ve made it even easier for our guests to shop at Target—while still getting the great value, curated product assortment and helpful guest service they’ve come to expect,” Dawn Block, the senior vice president of digital at the company said.
Shoppers can now get 65,000 items ranging from the grocery, household essentials, pets and baby categories delivered right to their door in as soon as an hour. In addition, guests who use their REDcard to pay can take advantage of weekly ad promos and 5% off their purchases, the company said.
Those who wish to try out Shipt’s delivery service can sign up for a free four-week trial or pay a $9.99 delivery fee for each Target.com order.
Orders can also be edited or have items added to them up to one hour before delivery, and multiple addresses can also be saved to make it easier to deliver orders to various locations.
