Target continues to revamp its stores as it looks to meet its goal of more than 1,000 remodels by the end of 2020. More than 300 stores were redone in 2018, and another 300 locations are scheduled to be revamped this year.
According to Target, each of its remodeled stores is unique in that it is customized to meet the needs of its neighborhood. At the same time, they all have a few things in common, including updated design features (for instance, brighter LED lighting, new decor, and additional mannequins) that combine to create a more inviting, warm and modern space, Also, the discounter has reimagined such areas as beauty, toys, baby, home, sleep and intimates, and food and beverage to enhance the shopping experience.
In addition, the remodeled stores boast one or more of Target’s updated fulfillment options, such as new and improved order pickup counters or designated drive-up lanes.
