Walmart shuffles 2 merchants’ roles
Walmart is shuffling some merchandising roles in OTC and apparel. Kelly McKinnon, the company’s senior buyer for OTC made the announcement in an email to suppliers this week.
According to the email, Annie Walker, who has been vice president/divisional merchandising manager for OTC, will become vice president of merchandise operations for apparel. Julie Barber will take over the OTC vice president/DMM role from her position as vice president/DMM of snacks, effective mid-May.
The OTC team also has added a cough, cold and flu/allergy buyer, with Bradlee Underwood joining the team from his role as a senior buyer in bakery, the email said. It also noted the appointment of Amanda Fenske to a buyer role in beauty, having previously been an associate buyer for OTC pediatrics
