Rite Aid extends COVID-19 vaccine priority scheduling period
Rite Aid is extending its previously announced priority COVID-19 scheduling period for teachers, school staff and childcare providers.
This extension is in accordance with a directive from the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the Biden administration to ensure the groups listed above are vaccinated during the month of March, the Camp Hill, Pa.-based retailer said.
As part of this new move, the scheduling of select COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be available to qualifying individuals on March 19, 20, 26 and 27.
Groups eligible during the dates listed above include pre-K through 12th-grade educators and staff, childcare workers, family childcare providers, and head start and early start staff.
