Rite Aid further expands COVID-19 testing sites
Rite Aid is adding more COVID-19 testing sites. The company will be opening 21 additional drive-thru sites on June 11 via its partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services, bring its total number of testing sites to 92.
Like the company’s existing sites, the additional locations will feature self-swab nasal tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. They will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
While tests are open to any adult 18 and older, patients need to pre-register on Rite Aid’s website to schedule a timeslot for testing. All told, Rite Aids sites will be able to conduct nearly 47,000 tests in a week.
