RxBar reformulates children’s protein snack line

RxBar is bringing its reformulated children’s protein snack bar line to shelves.

The Rx Kids line from the Chicago-based brand is made with real and wholesome ingredients that children can count on two hands, the company said.

“Our new Rx Kids bars are rooted in consumer feedback,” Jim Murray, president at RxBar said. “We want to provide a convenient snack option that parents can feel good about buying and kids are happy to eat, so the bar's easy-to-chew oat base and kid-friendly flavors are direct results of what we heard from fans.”

Featuring 0 g of added sugar and 5 g of real food protein, the bars do not contain artificial colors or flavors, and contain such ingredients as egg whites, dates, whole grain and gluten-free oats.

Available in four flavors — chocolate chip, strawberry, double chocolate and peanut butter chocolate chip — the Rx Kids Protein Snack Bars are available for purchase online at RxBar.com, Amazon.com, and at select grocery, natural, specialty, club and mass retailers nationwide.
