Sensitive Home cleaning products take a health-conscious route

Sensitive Home is debuting its collection of plant-based cleaning products, which has been certified EPA Safer Choice and USDA BioPreferred.

Designed for those with sensitivities, the collection was created to eliminate irritants, harmful emissions and toxic residues, the company said.

“We spent years listening to the sensitive community, and remain intentional and sincere in asking how to best serve them,” Gregory van Buskirk, chief science officer at Sensitive Home said. “For the first time ever, a cleaning brand began product development by truly listening, learning and understanding what contaminants are triggering the sensitive community. Now, eight years in the making, we are proud to have produced a collection that’s truly people-centric, biobased, and effective for all.” 

Making its retail debut at Wegmans, products consumers can shop from include:

• Laundry Detergent, which is a 96% USDA Certified Biobased Product that comes in free and clear fragrance-free, lavender sage and lemon zest;
• Dish Soap, which is a 97% USDA Biobased product that is available in free and clear fragrance-free, pink grapefruit and lemon zest;
• All-Purpose Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased product available in free and clear-fragrance free and pink grapefruit options;  
• Daily Shower Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased Product, that comes in free and clear fragrance-free;
• Tub and Tile Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased product available in free and clear fragrance-free and lemon zest options;
• Glass Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased product that comes in a free and clear fragrance-free;
• Wood Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased product that comes in a free and clear fragrance-free variety; and
• Marble and Granite Cleaner, which is a 100% USDA Certified Biobased product available in a free and clear fragrance-free option.

Sensitive Home products are now available at Wegmans locations.
