CLEVELAND — Vitamix, a privately held, family-owned and -operated company that makes blending equipment for home and commercial use, has opened a one-of-a-kind factory store to give northeast Ohioans a unique, hands-on experience with the brand.

The new Vitamix store, which celebrated its grand opening in mid-August in Solon, Ohio, offers a full line of Vitamix-certified reconditioned machines, as well as accessories and cookbooks. The store also will hold special cooking events, and consumers can even host their own after-hours Vitamix cooking parties at the factory store.

“Because the Vitamix Factory Store is located near our world headquarters, we’re able to offer something special to people here,” stated Vitamix director of direct sales and customer experience Holly Hacker. “Instead of just looking at our products, you can actually pick them up and use them. You can even bring your own ingredients, experiment with techniques and recipes, and get advice from our knowledgeable staff.”
