Southeastern Grocers offering CBD products in Florida, South Carolina

Southeastern Grocers is making CBD products available to customers in select cities.

The Jacksonville, Fla.-based retailer announced that various CBD products would be hitting shelves across 152 of its stores throughout Florida and South Carolina.

“We are constantly evaluating potential new products that will provide our customers with the most relevant and up-to-date alternative treatment methods,” Andrew Nadin, the EVP and chief customer officer at Southeastern Grocers, said. “With the growing mainstream acceptance of CBD-infused items across the United States, we will continue to diligently research additional ways to bring safe, high-quality products that can positively impact our customers’ lives.”

In addition to adding these offerings, the retailer also is a member of the Florida Hemp Council, which aims to create a thriving ecosystem aimed at bringing the Florida hemp industry to the forefront, the company said.

Shoppers can pick up CBD products in supplemental, pet and topical forms at the company’s select Bi-Lo and Winn-Dixie banners.
