Special K Crisps combine pastry, coffee flavors

Special K is welcoming a drink and pastry order combination to its offerings.

New to the Battle Creek, Mich.-based company’s offerings are the Caramel Latte Pastry Crisps.  

Containing just 100 calories per serving, the bars feature the flavors of caramel and a hint of espresso, the company said.

“These new Crisps bring the essence of your local coffee shop wherever you are,” Courtney Bentley, brand manager for Special K said. “With this innovative indulgence you can enjoy anywhere, you can satisfy your caffeine craving with as much caffeine as half a cup of coffee.
