Diabetes Roundtable 2015

Moderator’s Note: I have been moderating the Drug Store News Diabetes Roundtable for 11 years, and it seems that there is always something new in this space.

In December, DSN hosted its 14th annual Diabetes Roundtable, this time expanding the discussion to include other chronic conditions and community pharmacy’s role in driving prevention and improved health outcomes for patients. The panelists talked about what’s happening as a result of the Affordable Care Act, and what that has done for diabetes care; prevention and communication with patients and caregivers; and last, we focused a bit on technology.
