DSN Pharmacy Innovator

12/10/2014

Drug Store News in November presented Walgreens president of pharmacy, health and wellness Kermit Crawford — who will retire from the company at the end of the year, after 31 years at Walgreens — with the first-ever DSN Pharmacy Innovator award. The award, which will be given annually, is chosen by the editors and publishers of Drug Store News and is given to either a retail pharmacy executive or a team of executives whose contributions have done something to advance the practice of pharmacy and/or the role of community pharmacy in the nation’s healthcare system, and/or drive massive improvements in patient outcomes.

In the December issue, DSN examines Crawford’s career and some of the major contributions he has made to Walgreens and community pharmacy along the way. Download the full report here.
