Sprecher adds energy boost to its craft root beer

Sprecher Brewing is adding a little extra kick to its craft root beer offerings.

New from the Milwaukee-based company is its energy root beer, which contains a little boost of caffeine to provide consumers with an extra jolt.

Featuring the same fire-brewed flavor if its original craft root beer, the beverage also contains raw Wisconsin honey and 70 mg of caffeine per 12-oz. can, the company said.

“We are excited to add this new energy soda, which builds on the legacy of innovation and quality that customers have come to expect from Sprecher,” CEO Sharad Chadha said.

Available in packs of four that retail for $5.99, Sprecher Energy Root Beer can be found at retailers nationwide.
