Strides obtains FDA OK for acetaminophen and ibuprofen tablets

The combination of acetaminophen and ibuprofen is used to relieve pain from headaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, muscle aches and arthritis.

Strides’ subsidiary Strides Pharma Global, Singapore, has received the Food and Drug Administration’s approval for acetaminophen and ibuprofen tablets, 125 mg /250 mg (OTC).  

The product is a generic of Haleon’s Advil Dual Action with Acetaminophen, 125 mg /250 mg (OTC).  

The acetaminophen and ibuprofen tablets will be manufactured at the company’s flagship facility in KRSG, Bengaluru.

The combination of acetaminophen and ibuprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions, such as headaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, muscle aches or arthritis.

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
