Sweet Earth Foods’ plant-based offerings are expanding.

The brand announced that it would be launching a line of breakfast bowls, as well as reformulated ready-to-eat deli slices.

Inspired by regional scrambles, the breakfast bowls offer 17 to 20 g of plant protein and 3 to 5 g of fiber per serving. New flavors include:

  • Protein Lover’s Breakfast Bowl, a plant-based meaty scramble that contains cage-free eggs, plant-based sausage and bacon, spinach and cheddar cheese;
  • Southwest Veggie Breakfast Bowl, a Southwest scramble with cage-free eggs, poblano peppers, black beans, cilantro lime brown rice and Monterey jack cheese; and
  • Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Bowl, a Mexican-inspired bowl with cage-free eggs, plant-based chipotle seitan, cotija cheese, sweet potatoes, peppers and tortilla strips.

When it comes to its reformulated deli slices, the products contain 15 g of plant protein and 0 g of cholesterol, the Moss Landing, Calif.-based company said.

Available deli slices include:

  • Plant-Based Turkey Slices, which contain oven-roasted flavors of rosemary and sea salt;
  • Plant-Based Ham Slices, which feature a smoky Applewood flavor, and is colored with such natural ingredients as red rash to give it an authentic ham color; and
  • Plant-Based Pepperoni Slices, which has a blend of spices, and contains pea protein.

“With the likely return to busy, on-the-go lifestyles this fall, we anticipate there will be more demand than ever before for convenient plant-based meals and ingredients that don’t sacrifice flavor,” Seema Sundar, director of marketing at Sweet Earth Foods said. “The new additions of the Breakfast Bowls to our product portfolio and the reformulated Deli Slices, along with our recently launched ready-to-eat, flavor-forward Mindful Chik’n options, offer something for everyone and every occasion this fall.”

Currently, both Sweet Earth breakfast bowls and plant-based deli slices retail from $4.79 to $6.99 and can be found at such retailers as Whole Foods Market, Fresh Thyme Market, Walmart, Kroger and Target.
