Swiss Miss, Lucky Charms sweeten up traditional hot cocoa

Swiss Miss is adding an extra dash of sweetness to its line of hot cocoa.

Through a new partnership with Lucky Charms, fans of the chocolate drink will be able to find the brand’s iconic marshmallows, including hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers and blue moons, unicorns, rainbows and red balloons in their hot cocoa. 

The Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa with Lucky Charms Marshmallows are made with real nonfat milk, premium cocoa, contain 180 calories per serving and come in packages of six pre-portioned servings, the company said.

“The partnership with Swiss Miss and Lucky Charms really is a perfect fit in our eyes,” Erik Sword, the senior brand manager for Swiss Miss said. “The only thing that makes our delicious Swiss Miss hot cocoa even better is marshmallows, so why not use the most fun marshmallows out there. Now you can get actual Lucky Charms marshmallows for a Magically Delicious treat your whole family will love!”

In addition, the introduction of this co-branded innovation is the first from the Swiss Miss brand, the company said.

“Lucky Charms teaming up with Swiss Miss provides a unique opportunity to give our fans exactly what they have dreamed of, the magical combination of hot cocoa topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows,” Liz Mahler, the senior brand manager for Lucky Charms said.

Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa with Lucky Charms is currently rolling out to store shelves with a suggested retail price of $2.99.
