Twix sweetens things up with new seasoning blend

B&G Foods is bringing the sweet notes of Twix to any meal.  

The company is launching Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend, which contains the flavors of the chocolate bar in a format that can be added to any snack or sweet treat.

Featuring notes of crunchy cookie, caramel and milk chocolate, the blend is ideal to add to such foods as ice cream, cookies, milkshakes, cream cheese, popcorn, desserts, cocktails and fruit, the company said.

“We are thrilled to introduce our first chocolate bar-inspired seasoning blend with the launch of Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend,” Steve Finnie, brand director at B&G Foods said. “Consumers can expect everything they love about the flavors of Twix in this delicious seasoning. Sweets and seasonings can combine to create a fun new category — and consumers are going to enjoy eating it on their favorite treats!”

Available in a 13.5-oz. size, Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend will be available at all Sam’s Club locations and SamsClub.com beginning Sept. 1.

The product will expand its distribution to grocery stores and online retailers in the coming months, the company said.
