Unichem receives FDA OK for generic Tenex

Unichem Laboratories has received the Food and Drug Administration’s clearance for guanfacine tablets in dosage strengths of 1 mg and 2 mg.

The product is the generic of Promius’ Tenex.

Guanfacine tablets are indicated in the management of hypertension.

The product will be commercialized from Unichem's Ghaziabad plant.
