Walgreens Find Care adds SpineZone’s back, neck treatment program
Walgreens Find Care is adding SpineZone's online platform for back, neck and other joint treatment to its offerings.
“Walgreens is one of America’s most innovative, forward-thinking pharmacy retailers, and we’re proud to partner with them to make our treatment program available to more patients on Walgreens Find Care,” Kian Raiszadeh, co-founder and CEO of SpineZone, said. “SpineZone is creating a better, more flexible model for how to provide health care with options for digital technology and onsite care.”
Patients who opt for the program will receive access to a series of personalized at-home exercises designed to aid in managing pain, as well as improving movement and functionality based on the patient’s condition and goals, the company said.
Other offerings via the app include real-time messaging, as well as video chat and support from SpineZone’s team of physical therapists, physician assistants and orthopedic physicians.
In addition, the company will be rolling out a six-week back and neck online physical therapy program that includes customized exercises, physician oversight, orthopedic surgeon consultations for MRI review and a second opinion.
“Walgreens is one of the most-trusted, most respected names in health care, and many patients look to their neighborhood pharmacy as a front door to the healthcare system,” Raiszadeh said. “Walgreens Find Care is a perfect fit for SpineZone, because we share the goal of providing flexible services to patients in a way that helps improve outcomes and puts the patient first. Certain back and neck surgeries can be avoided with the support and guidance of personalized at-home treatment and exercises. We welcome Walgreens customers to learn more about SpineZone.”
