Zydus Cadila gets FDA nod for generic Reyataz
Patients with HIV will soon have a new generic antiretroviral drug treatment.
The Food and Drug Administration has cleared Zydus Cadila's atazanavir capsules in dosage strengths of 150 mg, 200 mg and 300 mg.
The product is the generic of Bristol Myers Squibb’s Reyataz capsules.
It is used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs to treat HIV-1 infection.
The drug will be manufactured at the group’s manufacturing facility at SEZ, Ahmedabad.
