Zydus Cadila gets FDA OK for Baclofen
Patients with muscle spasms that are caused by such conditions as multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury/disease have a new generic treatment option.
The Food and Drug Administration has given Zydus Cadila the green light to market baclofen tablets in a dosage strength of 5 mg.
Baclofen works by helping to relax the muscles.
The product will be made at the pharmaceutical company’s formulations manufacturing facility at Baddi in India.
