Barilla celebrates Mikaela Shiffrin with limited-edition pasta pack
Barilla is celebrating Mikaela Shiffrin’s 87th World Cup victory with a very special pasta pack.
Designed specifically for Shiffrin, the pasta pack features the brand’s iconic blue box pasta recipe made into 8 and 7 shapes to celebrate her latest achievement. In addition, the brand also launched a short film that reveals the specially designed pack of BluRhapsody by Barilla for Mikaela.
“My partnership with Barilla means the world to me. Barilla was with me since the beginning and has shared every single one of my victories,” said Shiffrin. Words can’t express just how proud I am to have been, and continue to be, part of the Barilla family for the last 12 years—my longest partnership to date!”

The Northbrook, Ill.-based company has worked with the athlete since she broke onto the skiing scene in 2011 and shares the brand’s values, namely nutrition, quality, family and a passion for excellence, Barilla noted.

BluRhapsody by Barilla has produced a total of 87 pasta packs, with the first pack—No. 1—being gifted to Shiffrin. The remaining No. 2 to 10 packs will be auctioned for five days from the release day.

“It is a surreal achievement, and one that I have worked incredibly hard to achieve,” said Shiffrin. “I am extremely grateful for everyone who has supported me in this journey.
