Clogged pores could be a thing of the past, thanks to Bioré’s latest innovation.
The brand unveiled its new limited-edition Citrus Crush Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, which are infused with a citrus scent and work to lift out grime, oil and blackheads.
Each of the strips are lightly scented, designed the follow the contour of consumers’ noses and use proprietary C-bond technology to lift impurities and debris from every pore. To use the strips, consumers must thoroughly wet their nose or other face areas before placing the strip onto the skin for 10 to 15 minutes. After the time is complete, users can peel the strip off at the edges, which won’t cause pain, damage or irritation, the company said.
To celebrate this new way to clear out pores, Bioré is partnering with Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation Campaign that mobilizes girls and women across the globe to raise awareness for UN programs that help adolescent girls in need.
Brand ambassador and actress Shay Mitchell will support the cause, and the company’s donations will be used to construct classrooms in Uganda and increase refugee girls’ school enrollment and quality of learning by addressing overcrowded classes.
Bioré’s limited-edition Citrus Crush Deep Cleansing Pore Strips will be available from June to November at select food, drug and mass retailers for the suggested retail price of $6.49.
