SHELTON, Conn. — Edgewell Personal Care’s Hawaiian Tropic brand is introducing new products and partnering with three YouTube influencers for a series of videos about the sun care products and how they incorporate them into their passions.
The brand has launched its Silk Hydration Weightless line and an expanded Island Sport line. The Silk Hydration Weightless line, which the company says featured a breathable formula, includes SPF 15 and SPF 30 clear sprays, as well as a face lotion available in SPF 30. The face lotion contains hydrating ribbons to provide 12-hour moisturization in a formula that won’t clog pores, the company said.
The Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport line is formulated to stand up to outdoor activities, providing up to 80 minutes of water-resistant sun protection, the company said. The new SPF 50 strength is available in a lotion and a clear spray.
To support these launches, Edgewell is working with Bethany Mota, Megan Nicole and Claudia Sulewski on the video series. Mota has more than 12 million YouTube subscribers and will highlight the Silk Hydration Weightless face lotion. Nicole is a musician who will showcase her use of the Silk Hydration Weightless clear spray when she performs outdoors or shoots music videos. Sulewski is a Los Angeles-based lifestyle vlogger who will showcase her use of the SPF 50 Island Sport lotion.
"We're thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Bethany, Megan and Claudia to co-create a video series showcasing how our new products bring the signature Hawaiian Tropic, Aloha Therapy experience into their daily lives,” Edgewell Personal Care brand manager Elizabeth Gioia.
