1/21/2015

NEW YORK — Chris Salgardo, skin care expert, philanthropist and leader of the Kiehl's Since 1851 skin care brand, has inked a multi-book deal with the Crown Publishing Group, a division of Penguin Random House, to provide grooming guidance and how-to advice for men of every age.

"I am thrilled with this new venture, of course, but even more excited to share the knowledge, inspiration and practical advice I have gained throughout my life and in building such a beloved brand," said Salgardo, president of Kiehl's Since 1851. "These books will be shaped by my passion for the adventure, discovery, independence and know-how that define modern men, and by information they can trust to get the most out of life at any age, in any situation."

The books will focus on men's skin care, grooming and lifestyle advice. The first of the books will come to market as part of Pam Krauss Books' Spring 2016 list.

"We are enthused by Chris's vision, and expect the books to be strongly appealing to men of all ages, who are taking care of themselves in ways previous generations could not have imagined," said Pam Krauss, SVP at Crown.
