Lifestyle beauty brand, Raw Sugar Living, has just made its products available to a wider set of consumers.
The Los Angeles-based company announced that its vegan-friendly personal care line has hit 7,000 Walgreens shelves nationwide.
"As a brand whose product development is directly driven by consumer demand, it was important for us to not only meet their needs regarding healthy living products, but to make them more accessible by meeting consumers where they already were—in the aisles of their local retail store," Ronnie Shugar, the co-founder and CEO of Raw Sugar Living, said. "Walgreens was the most strategic next step."
By expanding its distribution, the brand also is expanding its Raw Sugar Initiative give-back program, which allows the company to donate even more bars of soap to families and communities in need.
"We felt that Walgreens was truly aligned with our company mission and identified with who we are as a brand—and that was everything to us," Donda Mullis, the co-founder and CMO of Raw Sugar Living, said. "Core to our belief is that everybody has the right to feel beautiful, and we knew that expanding our product reach through thousands of Walgreens stores means that even more people will now not only be able to access our Raw Sugar products but will also be supporting our give-back program—and to us, that is what matters most."
Raw Sugar Living’s products can also be found at Target and Meijer locations throughout the country.
