Sephora raises skin care, sun protection awareness with limited-edition kits

Sephora is raising awareness on skin care and sun protection via a new initiative with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

The retailer unveiled a new limited-edition Sun Safety Kit, which will be sold throughout the spring. In addition, the retailer will donate $25 from each kit sold to help supper the cancer center’s continued research and educational programs.

“At Sephora, we are committed to continued education around smart skin care, wellness and self-care, and we are thrilled to partner with such a storied institution for our sun safety initiative,” Artemis Patrick, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Sephora, said. “This yearly programming is deeply personal to our clients and employees, and we’re excited to be able to contribute to the important work that Memorial Sloan Kettering is doing for education, research and treatment.”

Each kit, which contains 12 products with SPF, features:

Each Sephora Sun Safety Kit retails for $39 and can be found in stores, online and on the Sephora app.
