Wunder2, YouCam Makeup partner on augmented reality platform
Jumping on the growing trend of bringing virtual product sampling to consumers, Wunder2 Cosmetics and YouCam Makeup have partnered up to bring that experience to the web. Together, both companies will bring the Perfect-owned app's augmented reality technology to the cosmetic company's website.
This new tool uses a Web consultation mode that features facial recognition and skin tone matching that offers shoppers true-to-life virtual try-ons of the beauty brand's vast array of products.
“Thanks to the patented YouCam Makeup technology, shoppers across the country will be able to try on product and find their ideal shades without having to visit a store,” Agnes Hjelmer, CEO of Wunder2 Cosmetics, said. “We're delighted to have partnered with YouCam on such a forward-thinking innovation. In addition to launching the AR-tool on its website, Wunder2 Cosmetics also has made its products accessible on YouCam Makeup’s website. Those who use the app will be able to try on 25 products from the brand’s collection.
