Beyoncé teases hair care line Cécred

Beyoncé revealed the name and launch of her upcoming Cécred hair care line, rolling out on Feb. 20.

Beyoncé has taken the music world by storm and now she is getting ready to impact the beauty space. 

The Grammy-winning musician who previously teased the launch of the line back in May of 2023 with an Instagram caption that read, “How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.”

I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I've been creating,” she wrote in the original post teasing the line. 

Now the musician is ready to let the world in on what she has been creating with an Instagram post announcing the name and launch of the line, Cécred, rolling out on Feb. 20.

No other details were given about the launch, which falls in line with the growing trend of celebrities dipping their toes in the hair care space. Tracee Ellis Ross launched Pattern in 2019, Jennifer Aniston debuted LolaVie in 2021 and Tia Mowry rolled out 4U by Tia in 2023.
