BJ’s Wholesale Club to open 36th location in Florida
BJ’s Wholesale Club’s store count in Florida is growing to 36.
The warehouse club retailer announced that it will be opening its Davenport, Fla., location on Feb. 17, which brings its total number of stores across the nation to 236.
Featured at this new store will be an on-site BJ’s Gas station offering low fuel prices in regular, premium and diesel.

“Bringing BJ’s one-stop shop experience into the Davenport community is a wonderful way to kick off 2023,” said Theodore Kyriakidis, club manager of Davenport’s BJ’s Wholesale Club. “We couldn’t be more eager to engage with our smart-saving families in the area, welcome them to this brand-new location, and continue to build upon our strong presence in Florida.”
Members also will obtain access to a variety of convenient shopping options, including curbside pickup, in-club pickup, same-day delivery and standard delivery. In addition, when shopping in the store, consumers will be able to use ExpressPay through the BJ’s mobile app, which allows shoppers to scan products as they go and skip the checkout line at the end of their trip.
Also included in the club is a selection of fresh foods, produce, full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies, seasonal items, home décor, fashion for the family, toys, tech and a selection of local products.
In addition, BJ’s contributed to the Boys and Girls Club of Polk County to support its programs that promote education, health, social character, service and leadership among youth in the community.
