Bobbi Brown reenters the makeup world with Jones Road Beauty

Bobbi Brown is re-entering the cosmetics world for the first time since leaving her eponymously named brand back in 2016.

Jones Road is the latest venture from Brown, which is a line of makeup products designed for all ages, skin types and skin tones.

Featuring high-grade formulations that aid in helping users achieve a modern no-makeup makeup look, the collection’s products are made from a blend of natural ingredients and synthetics that have been vetted for safety and effectiveness, the company said.

“I created my original brand in the ’90s. Things are different today,” Brown said. “Women shop differently; there is a new definition of what beauty is. Imperfect is beautiful. Jones Road celebrates that. It’s the ultimate no-makeup makeup.”

Products part of the brand’s initial launch include:

• Miracle Balm, a light-reflecting product that moisturizes, adds a soft-focus to the desired area, is available in four shades, and contains such skin boosters as argan oil and vitamin E;
• The Mascara, a clean, ultra-black mascara that volumizes, lengthens, leaves lashes full and soft, and does not flake, clump or smear;
• Cool Gloss, a softening gloss that melts into the lips, plumps, is available in five shades, and also features natural peppermint;
• Just A Sec, an eye shadow with a luminescent lid that is neither a powder, cream, mousse or gel. Its formula provides a crease-proof application that is buildable;
• The Best Pencil, a highly pigmented pencil that can be used to blend, give a smoky look, or draw in a graphic line;
• The Best Eyeshadow, a powder that is highly pigmented, easily blendable, and stays put once applied; and
• Start-Up Kit, a collection of all the essentials in a variety of hues.

In addition, Jones Road’s products are made without the use of 2,700 potentially toxic ingredients as parabens, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, cyclic silicones, BPA and EDTA, the company said.
