“BodyArmor transformed the sports drink category with its better-for-you hydration options and now we’re excited to do the same in rapid rehydration with BodyArmor Flash I.V.,” said BodyArmor Sports Nutrition CEO, Federico Muyshondt. “We’re always looking to innovate and provide consumers with hydration options they want and need, and we can’t wait to showcase our latest game-changer yet.”

Developed with a coconut water base, the beverage looks to provide refueling, replenishing and recovery benefits due to an added number of electrolytes, as well as zinc, and vitamins B and C, the company said.

“We may not be the first product in this rapidly growing space, but we plan to be the best – and that ultimately starts with taste,” said Muyshondt. “Consumers want products that not only work hard for them but actually taste good too. We’re confidently entering this category because we know that Flash I.V. tastes better than any other rapid hydration product out on the market today.”

Available in a 20-oz. bottle that contains more than 2200 mg of electrolytes, BodyArmor’s Flash I.V. comes in grape, strawberry kiwi, orange and tropical punch flavors that can be found in regional retail stores. The line will expand its distribution to nationwide stores and Amazon beginning in 2024.
