Burt’s Bees, PopSockets bring phone functionality, lip care together

Burt’s Bees and PopSockets are joining forces to bring phone grips and lip care products together in one.

Together, the two companies are partnering on the launch of the new PopGrip Lips x Burt’s Bees — a two-in-one product that features the functionality of a PopGrip with the added bonus of a lip care product.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with an iconic brand like Burt's Bees”, Melanie Love, vice president of brand marketing said. “For years, the brand has been known for its innovations in the natural personal care space and has become a household name. The collaboration marries tech and lip care in a way that has created a new category of product for fans of both brands.”

The Burt’s Bees Original Beeswax Lip Balm looks to soften and nourish lips naturally, contains a hint of peppermint oil and is made from responsibly sourced beeswax. It also is infused with vitamin E, and formulated without the use of parabens, phthalates, petrolatum or SLS, the company said.

“We hear from so many people that their lip balm is something they can't leave home without,” Matt King, the director of marketing at Burt's Bees said. “By partnering with PopSockets, we can make it even easier to ensure essentials — their phone and Burt's Bees lip balm — never get left behind.”

Available in five patterns, the PopGrip Lips x Burt’s Bees will contain two pans of lip balm, and retail for $19.99 at Target stores throughout the nation and at PopSockets.com and Burtsbees.com.
