Pharmacy students from the University of South Carolina, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the University of Georgia have been named finalists.
Earlier this month, the FDA authorized state-licensed pharmacists to prescribe Paxlovid to eligible patients aged 12 years old and older, with certain limitations.
The program can provide access to lifesaving treatments, and allowing pharmacists to prescribe and dispense will make it more effective and accessible for millions of Americans.
