    The discounter on Monday opened its 13,000th store, in Birmingham, Ala. The company operates approximately 675 stores in Alabama.

    TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy on Friday announced that it had introduced a new pill tray specifically for patients that take more than 10 medications per day. The new once-weekly dispensing system provides patients with removable cartridges for each day of the week that they can carry around with them. It’s also designed to be large enough to hold multiple medications for those on medication synchronization programs. 
     
  • Artificial nails boast consistent growth

    Instagram is helping boost sales of at-home artificial nails. The nail category is still trying to claw its way out of the red, with IRI reporting sales still down. For the 52-week period ended May 15 across multi-outlets, sales are down 0.7% overall, but nail color is still down just over 7%.
