Cerave wants to ensure skin is getting a moisture balance with its new cleanser.

The new Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser looking to ensure that when cleansing, the skin’s moisture barrier is not being stripped away.

Formulated with three essential ceramides, and such hydrating ingredients as hyaluronic acid, the cleanser blends together the benefits of CeraVe’s Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Foaming Facial Cleanser.

Featuring a soft cream formula that turns into foam, the product looks to cleanse the skin of dirt, oil, makeup and daily sunscreen residue.

Though that’s not all the brand has up their sleeve, another new addition also is joining the CeraVe family — the Foaming Cleanser Bar.

This soap-free bar looks to help eliminate dirt and oil, also without stripping skin of its natural oils. Containing kaolin clay absorbs excess oil and gentle surfactants to cleanser, it also cleanses without disrupting the skin’s barrier, features a non-comedogenic formula, does not clog pores, has ceramides and hyaluronic acid, and is ideal for those with acne-prone or oily skin, the company said.

“Existing as a brand developed with dermatologists, we know cleansing is about giving and not just taking,” Derrick Booker, the vice president of marketing at CeraVe said. “We remain focused on our mission of providing therapeutic skincare for all, and these additions to our cleanser portfolio bring together those attributes we know consumers love about our existing products, while giving them new solutions that address evolving skin care needs and preferences.”

The CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser is available at drugstores nationwide and Amazon for the suggested retail price of $14.99, while the Foaming Cleanser Bar retails for $6.99.
