  • Snyder's celebrates new pretzel pieces with giveaway

    HANOVER, Pa. --  Leading snack brand Snyder's is launching an irreverent campaign to celebrate its latest product and National Pretzel Day.

    On April 26, the brand will give away thousands of bags of Snyder's of Hanover Pretzel Pieces near baseball stadiums in eight cities around the country. Snyder's of Hanover street teams will be handing out three flavorful varieties – Honey Mustard and Onion, Hot Buffalo Wing and the newest sweet and salty flavor, S'mores.

  • Taste of Nature unveils new granola bars

    TORONTO -- A leading brand in the natural foods aisle has expanded its assortment into the mainstream snack bar set.

    Taste of Nature has launched three new granola bars that are Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified. They come in three flavors: Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Pecan Brownie and Oatmeal Cookie. 

    Taste of Nature's snack bars can be found at drug stores, grocery stores, Walmart, Costco, and other mass retailers.

    CHICAGO --  As more consumers look to diversify their grain intake, Quaker is adding two new products to the breakfast aisle.

    The brand is rolling out SuperGrains Instant Hot Cereal and Real Medleys SuperGrains Granola.

    Turkey Hill is launching a new line of gelato with mix-ins like fudge or caramel cookies called Gelato Swirls. The new five-flavor line-up combines the rich and creamy texture of gelato, but with added ingredients not often seen in traditional gelato flavors.

  • Nestle moves to simplify ingredients in ice cream

    OAKLAND, Calif. -- Nestle is aiming to evolve with consumer preferences by changing the ingredients in six iconic ice cream brands.

    The company announced that Edy's, Häagen-Dazs, Outshine, Skinny Cow, Nestle Ice Cream and Nestle Drumstick products will roll out with the removal of artificial colors and flavors, high fructose corn syrup and GMO ingredients. Other changes include the use of fresh milk from cows not treated with rBST, the addition of more real fruit or fruit juice and a reduction in sugar by an average of 11% on select products.
