  • CVS Health launches in-store fundraising campaign to benefit ALA's LUNG FORCE initiative

    WOONSOCKET, R.I. - CVS Health on Monday launched an in-store fundraising campaign at CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide to benefit the American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE initiative.
     
    Now through June 11, customers can donate $1, $3 or more at the register at 7,900 CVS Pharmacy locations and online at www.cvs.com/lung. CVS Health is the national presenting sponsor of LUNG FORCE, which is focused on raising awareness about lung cancer in women and increasing research funding to save lives.
     
  • BevNET: PepsiCo tests heated beverages in Boston-area CVS stores

    PepsiCo recently completed a test of warmed soft drinks and teas at approximately a dozen CVS locations in the Boston area. According to BevNET, the 7.5 ounce cans were displayed in a countertop warming cabinet heated to 122°F and PepsiCo is currently reviewing sales data. (BevNET)

    RICHMOND, Va. - CVS Health on Wednesday joined Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, Health and Human Resources Secretary William Hazel and Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Brian Moran in highlighting the availability of the opioid overdose-reversal medicine naloxone without a prescription at all CVS Pharmacy locations across Virginia. CVS Health has established a standing order with physicians in Virginia that allows CVS Pharmacy to expand access to the medication in the Old Dominion.
